We’re seeking vibrant, grounded, and welcoming individuals to join our team as a Host/Hostess at The Vibery—home to Elevate Island and a full spectrum of plant-powered experiences. As the first face our guests see when they enter our alcohol-free social club, you’ll set the tone for the energy and experience inside.
This role is about more than just seating guests—it’s about curating meaningful connections, managing guest flow, and creating an environment where everyone feels instantly at home. You’ll play a key part in a supportive, tight-knit team dedicated to service and vibe. In addition to hospitality, you’ll also support sales and assist the manager with inventory tracking and retail flow. We're looking for someone who is both service-minded and sales-oriented, with a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences in a wellness-forward space.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and positivity
- Answer questions about our food, drinks, events, and space
- Maintain a clean and inviting front-of-house experience
- Achieve monthly sales objectives
- Collaborate with baristas, kitchen, and management for seamless guest service
- Support event check-in and help maintain a smooth flow
- Direct guests to their destinations (Zen Den, café, stage, etc.)
Must Have
- Strong interpersonal skills and friendly energy
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable
- Calm under pressure and able to multitask during busy shifts
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for USA
- Comfortable using basic apps/systems for check-in and communication
- Respectful of our alcohol-free policy and mission
Nice to have
- Experience in writing online content
- Additional languages
- Experience in hospitality, events, or front-of-house work
- Interest in wellness, plant medicine, or community spaces
