About Elevate Island:

Currently operating as a kava-based social lounge and retail space, Elevate Island is evolving into a fully legal cannabis experience rooted in conscious community and plant-powered connection. Located in the heart of St. Thomas, we fuse holistic wellness, music, performance, and sacred space—without alcohol.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for bold, creative, and expressive Performance Artists / Actors to bring theatrical flair, immersive storytelling, and vibrant energy to our events. Whether hosting trivia nights, leading themed parties, playing characters for our murder mystery dinners, or co-creating sacred ceremonies, your presence will help define the Elevated experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and embody characters for immersive experiences, events, or live shows
• Engage with guests in both scripted and improvisational settings
• Collaborate with the event and creative teams to design and execute themed nights
• Participate in rehearsals, wardrobe, and makeup (if needed)
• Support the spiritual and elevated nature of cannabis by helping create respectful, high-vibration environments
• Represent Elevate Island’s mission with integrity and professionalism

Types of Performances May Include:

• Cannabis-themed mystery dinners
• assistance with wellness rituals
• Trivia hosting with flair
• Emceeing themed parties or game nights
• Flash theater, spoken word, or movement-based acts

Requirements:

• Experience in performance, acting, or immersive entertainment
• Strong improvisation and audience interaction skills
• Energetic, expressive, and professional demeanor
• Comfortable with cannabis culture and sober, plant-based environments
• Must be 21+ and comfortable working in an evolving cannabis setting
• Evening and weekend availability required

Bonus Points:

• Background in theater, clowning, movement arts, or live performance art
• Ability to write or co-develop scripts and character backstories
• Passion for alternative healing, cannabis culture, or transformational events
